Being a very frequent user of credit cards, I have come across many banks facing the problem of their customers getting absconded without repaying the credit on their account.
I noticed some interesting tactics followed by one of the banks to deal with such customers.
1. The first step would be to get hold of the customer using the mobile number in his / her records.
2. If they are no longer available then send a person to their permanent address to know their availability.
3. If that too is not working then track their current data with the help of other banks and try to find him/her out.
4. If the customer has received the credit card through any of the organizations he is working for, then check with the organization for the current credentials.
5. Alert all other branches of the bank and other banks about this customer and get hold of him just in case if he visits any bank by chance.
